An Artist by birth, an Interior Designer by education, and a Filmmaker by desire, Michael Patrick McKinley wants to tell the kind of stories that uplift and inspire. His first film, 2017's HAPPY, enjoyed a celebrated festival run, touching hearts wherever it went, earning a clutch of lovely awards along the way, including the Sydney K. Shapiro Humanitarian award at Phoenix Film Festival.

A native of California's Central Coast, Mckinley has called Wisconsin home for the last 35 years. Kaleidoscope Child is his 2nd documentary feature.
